The CTAE collection pays homage to the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctica Expedition (CTAE ) of 1990, in which The North Face kitted out a six-strong team of scientists crossing Antarctica to analyse the effects of climate change. The CTAE Fleece is true to the original in terms of design details and fit – it even has a celebratory anniversary logo – but with one exception; it’s now made from recycled polyester, putting discarded plastic to good use.DETAILS
